Terms of Service

1. Who we are

AthleteArc is an AI-powered performance monitoring platform for youth athletes and coaches. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can use AthleteArc

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account yourself. If you are between 13 and 15, you confirm that you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the service. Users under 13 are not currently supported — we are building a verified parental consent flow required by COPPA.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support@athletearc.io.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Use AthleteArc for anything illegal or to harm others
Attempt to access another user's account without permission
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Abuse our AI features with spam or bad-faith prompts
Resell access to the service or scrape data in bulk

5. Medical disclaimer

AthleteArc is a performance monitoring and training recommendation tool. It is not medical advice. The AI-generated recommendations, injury risk scores, and training plans are suggestions based on statistical patterns, not clinical diagnoses. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or certified strength coach before making significant changes to your training or nutrition based on anything the app tells you.

6. Your data

You own your data. You can download everything we hold about you at any time via Settings → Download my data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete my account. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Pricing and subscriptions

AthleteArc is currently free during our early access period. Paid plans will launch later. We will notify you in-app and by email at least 30 days before any billing starts. If you don't want to convert to a paid plan, you can continue on the free tier or delete your account with no charge.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthleteArc is provided "as is." We are not liable for injuries, training outcomes, or other consequences that result from relying on AI recommendations in the app. This is not a substitute for a qualified coach, trainer, or medical professional.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we will notify you and give you a chance to download your data first, unless the violation involves ongoing harm to others.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll notify you in-app and by email when we update these terms materially. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree, you can delete your account.
